WHAT PARHAM HELPS WITH

Two Paths. One Conversation.

  • Medicare Advantage

An all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare, often with extras like dental, vision, and prescription coverage bundled in. Lower monthly cost, network-based care.

  • Medicare Supplement

Also called Medigap. Pairs with Original Medicare to cover what Parts A and B don't — deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. Predictable costs, broad doctor access.

Common Questions

What people ask before signing up.

  • What’s the difference between Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage?

They’re two different ways to fill the gaps in Original Medicare, and the right one depends on how you want to use your coverage.
A Medicare Supplement (also called Medigap) works alongside Original Medicare to pay for the deductibles, copays, and coinsurance that Parts A and B don’t cover. You can see any doctor who accepts Medicare — no networks. Premiums are higher, but out-of-pocket costs are predictable.
A Medicare Advantage plan replaces Original Medicare with an all-in-one plan that often bundles in prescription, dental, and vision coverage. Premiums are typically lower, but you’ll generally need to stay within a network of doctors.
The right answer depends on your health, your doctors, your prescriptions, and your tolerance for surprises. That’s the conversation we’ll have on the call.

  • Do you charge a fee to help me choose a plan?

No. There’s no cost to you for working with Parham — you’ll pay the same premium for your plan whether you sign up directly with the carrier or through an agent. Independent agents are paid a commission by the insurance company, which means you get personalized guidance at no extra charge.
